new position: Assistant Professor, tenure-track. Specialization in ethical theory, with competency in applied ethics, required. Ph.D. in philosophy from a regionally accredited or internationally recognized institution completed by August 2009. Must be willing and able to teach at least two of the following upper division courses: environmental ethics, technology and values, and medical ethics. Willingness to teach in the Honors Program and ability to teach one or more upper division courses in the history of philosophy (ancient, medieval, modern, or contemporary) desirable. Standard teaching load 4/4, with one upper division course and three sections of some lower level course(s) (introductory philosophy, ethics, and logic/critical thinking) per semester
