About Vet Schools and Auburn. It is probably harder to get into vet school than into medical school for Kentucky residents. That's because Kentucky has no vet school, and vet schools, like other health professional schools that are publicly funded, mainly serve the residents of their own states. So if you are an Ohio resident, you'll have a reasonable chance of getting into Ohio State's vet school. But if you're a Kentucky resident, it's much harder.
The Auburn Vet School has a special arrangement with Kentucky: seven new slots per year are reserved for Kentucky residents. That's for all of Kentucky, not just EKU!
